PC5000 Pre Cut

PC5000 Pre Cut Compound is a water based homogenised aluminium oxide polish that will remove sanding marks from a grain size of P1000-P1200. Its primary design is to cut heavily oxidised surface finishes on heavily weathered paints including gelcoat/fibreglass. As with all Zvizzer compounds, PC5000 has a long working time when used for prolonged paint correction however this will ultimately change depending on type of mechanical polishing used, pad combination, speed, pressure, paint type and climate conditions.

Procedure:

Using a sufficient amount of compound (4-5 pea sized dots) work the compound into an area at a low speed and pressure to spread the compound around the panel and into the pad surface. Whilst increasing pressure increase speed to a medium speed setting (E.g. 3-4 on Rupes Bigfoot DA (MKI/II/III)). PC5000 can be used with long throw DA polishers, however ultimate heavy cutting will be achieved with rotary machines.
