MC3000 Medium Cut

MC3000 Medium Cut Compound is a water based homogenised aluminium oxide polish that will remove sanding marks from a grain size of P3000 (P2000 on certain paints when used with wool and or rotary). It can be used as a single step cut/gloss enhancement on all paint which has moderate defects and also brand new vehicles. MC3000 has a long working time when used for prolonged paint correction however this will ultimately change depending on type of mechanical polishing used, pad combination, speed, pressure, paint type and climate conditions.

Procedure:

Using a sufficient amount of compound (4-5 pea sized dots) work the compound into an area at a low speed and pressure to spread the compound around the panel and into the pad surface. Whilst increasing pressure increase speed to a medium speed setting (E.g. 3-4 on Rupes Bigfoot DA (MKI/II/III)).

To finish with MC3000, reduce pressure to the weight of the machine only and increase speed slightly.
